Self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) compliance software provider BGL has teamed up with Macquarie’s COIN to help financial advisers manage SMSF clients.
The two software providers have partnered to allow advisers to import client data from COIN’s software and then integrate the information with BGL’s Simple Fund compliance solution through an automated data upload feature.
This integration would allow financial advisers to merge clients’ information from COIN software, with data flowing into BGL’s compliance and administrative solution Simple Fund.
Managing director of BGL Ron Lesh said the move would ensure greater accuracy by removing the risk of human error in the transfer and uploading of electronic data files.
“It will greatly improve tax and strategic decision making for accountants and financial advisers as all the relevant member information and investments are brought together in one place,” Lesh said.
