INDIVIDUAL and discrete private client portfolio manager Clime Asset Management has struck a deal with niche managed account software group Financial Simplicity to license a new Individually Managed Account (IMA) portfolio management tool.
The software, according to Clime Asset Management managing director Roger Montgomery, increases efficiency by allowing companies to “do away with complex spreadsheets”.
“With Financial Simplicity, we are able to rapidly and effectively apply the Clime research recommendations to all our individual client portfolios with precision and ease, allowing us to spend more time on our core investment research and selection activities,” Montgomery says.
He claims the software significantly reduces the effort and costs of rebalancing and implementing changes to individual client portfolios.
