The Financial Planning Association of Australia (FPA) has presented the second Gwen Fletcher Memorial Award to Crowe Horwath's Amy Early.
The award is given to a Certified Financial Planner student who attains the highest mark in all three required assessments every semester.
Early, who has been a financial planner for two years, was the highest achieving student last semester.
She acknowledged Fletcher's role in the financial planning industry upon getting the award.
"Her commitment to assisting financial planners in helping their clients is very inspiring. Receiving this award is a great motivation to constantly aim for the high standards that Gewn set and to make a meaningful contribution to our profession," she said.
"Gwen left a lasting impact, and perhaps as a result of this, more women than ever are joining the profession."
FPA chief executive Mark Rantall congratulated Early on the award and said Fletcher's legacy continued through the award.
