The former chief executive of Centric Wealth, Glen Castensen has been recruited to fill a newly-created position at Fortnum Private Wealth.
The senior executive position will see Castensen reporting to Fortnum managing director, Neil Younger, and tasked with boosting the company’s service offering.
Commenting on the appointment, Younger noted that Castensen had over 25 years’ experience in financial advice, funds management and investment research.
“We are excited to have such a well-respected, experienced executive on board to support Fortnum’s growth initiatives and also work closely with our advisers to drive growth in their underlying businesses,” he said. “Glen’s deep knowledge and understanding of the advice industry and his experience in building advice capabilities will be very valuable to Fortnum practices and principals.”
Castensen co-founded Centric Wealth in 2005 through the merger of Centrestone Wealth Advisers and Berkley Group of which he was managing director.
