Global financial services firm BTIG Australia Limited has bolstered its international equities capabilities with the appointments of Leo Borovilas and Andrew Best.
Borovilas takes on the role of senior trader on the institutional sales desk, having previously worked across Asia Pacific, US and UK markets. He has held senior positions at Austock Securities, Bell Potter and JP Morgan.
Best has also been appointed as a senior trader on the institutional sales desk. With 17 years experience, he previously held management roles at JP Morgan Securities, Citigroup Global Markets and Macquarie Equities Limited.
Chief executive officer for BTIG Australia Paul Brech said that the company is continuing to hire experienced trading professionals to serve its ever-increasing global client base and investment offerings.
