BT Financial Group chief executive officer Brad Cooper has joined AMP's Craig Meller as co-deputy chairman of the Financial Services Council (FSC).
Brad Cooper has replaced Schroder Investment Management chief executive officer Greg Cooper, who was recently appointed FSC Chairman.
"As a director on the FSC board since 2010 and co-chair of the FSC's Superannuation Board Committee, Brad has made a significant contribution to financial services at a time when monumental changes have been made to Australia's superannuation system," Greg Cooper said.
In his new role on the FSC board, Brad will also be a deputy chairman of the Council's Administration and Risk Board Committee, as well as the Nominations Board Committee.
Apart from the chairman and the two co-deputy chairmen, the FSC's Board has 11 directors:
