BNP Paribas Investment Partners has entered into a strategic alliance with US-based global value equity specialist, Barrow, Hanley, Mewhinney & Strauss (Barrow Hanley) to help service the Australian and New Zealand markets.
The company said that via the alliance, BNP Paribas Investment Partners would be the exclusive distributor of Barrow Hanley’s investment expertise in Australia and New Zealand.
Commenting on the alliance, Barrow Hanley managing director, Robert Barkley said the alliance would expand the reach of the company’s global value equity offering to Australian and New Zealand investors.
For his part, BNP Paribas IP chief executive, David Grybas said the alliance fitted with the company’s objective of providing Australian and New Zealand investors with the full circle of asset management expertise.
