Self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) specialist provider, BGL Corporate Solutions has partnered with InvestmentLink to provide data for its online Simple Fund SMSF administration software.
BGL managing director, Ron Lesh, said the move was in response to increasing client demand for a faster and more efficient automated system of data collection.
“Our data feed from InvestmentLink will provide data for 280 wraps and platforms, bringing the total number of data feeds in Simple Fund 360 to an industry-leading [total of] 400,” Lesh said.
“This is pretty amazing and a real credit to our agile development teams.”
By focusing on a seamless integration of the new InvestmentLink data capabilities, BGL will look to progressively release the upgrade to Simple Fund 360 clients.
According to chief technology officer for InvestmentLink, Wayne Robinson, InvestmentLink provides data for a variety of major wraps and platforms, including ANZ/OnePath, ASGARD, AXA, CFS, HUB24, IOOF, MLC, Netwealth, OneVue, and Praemium.
“Our extensive coverage of wrap and platform data will enhance BGL’s Simple Fund 360 product offering and provide our current and future clients with reliable data for their SMSF administration,” Robinson said.
Currently, BGL has over 7,500 clients in 12 countries using its product suite of compliance solutions for superannuation, company secretarial and general ledger.
Lesh said BGL is working to add more data suppliers to Simple Fund 360 over the next few months.
“We are seeing Simple Fund 360 become the centre of our client’s universe [and] the number of clients, trustees, advisers, and auditors accessing Simple Fund 360 is increasing every day,” he added.
“As the bank, wrap and platform data flows in each day, our clients can see today’s investment and member balances on their smart phones, tablets, and PCs anywhere in the world. This really is the future of SMSF administration and compliance.”
