ING Australia business development manager (BDM) Russell Hannah has taken out the top honour in this year’s Money Management/Tribeca BDM of the Year Awards.
Hannah was awarded National BDM of the Year in Sydney last night following weeks of voting by financial planners and a decision by a judging panel of industry experts, who chose six award recipients from a list of 22 finalists.
Of this select group, Rural Funds Management BDM Gabriel Carey received both the Boutique BDM of the Year award and the state award for South Australia/Northern Territory.
The other state winners were Hemant Raval of AMP (NSW/ACT), Michael Angwin of van Eyk Research (Western Australia), Kate McDermott of Credit Suisse (Victoria/Tasmania) and Paul Slattery of AXA (Queensland).
