Specialist in digital customer acquisition for financial services, Avoka has announced an appointment of two high profile lead designers, Nicholas Nelson and Johnny Power, in a move expected to help expand the firm’s customer experience leadership for financial services clients.
They both joined the firm from the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) that aimed to simplify the use of the Australian Federal Government’s digital services.
Additionally, Nelson also served as a lead UX/UI design specialist for clients in the US and Brazil, including companies such as eBay, CNET, CBS Digital and CISCO while Power worked as UX designer at Datacom, LIDA Australia, Macquarie Group and Westpac.
At Avoka, they would be working within the product team and help deliver assistance to its clients around the world.
The firm also said the announcement followed its recent launch of its customer experience program which aimed at helping companies see what their customers faced when they went online to make a transaction.
