Chris Kopittke’s Regional Financial Services is probably the closest thing Australia has to the successful niche advisory business of the future.
The Undiscovered Managers report says the successful niche advisory business of the future will identify a complex problem shared by a segment of the population and then offer a comprehensive solution to the problem while, at the same time, offer traditional financial planning services. Finding the solution is only half the problem, the other half is marketing to the niche and building sufficient scale to reduce overheads.
