Australian Ethical has appointed David Macri as chief investment officer following James Jordan's decision to step down after nearly two years in the role.
Macri joined the fund manager in 2009 as an equities analyst and portfolio manager. Prior to that, he spent time with Macquarie Group, Credit Suisse, Mellon and Mercer covering strategic and tactical asset allocation, commercial research, portfolio construction, and rating agency process management.
Australian Ethical managing director Phil Vernon said Jordan will be leaving the company on 28 March to return to the Australian Public Service and that he will be assisting Macri in a smooth managerial transition.
