Australian Unity Investments (AUI) has appointed specialist financial planning software provider Pentafin Software to replace its technology system.
AUI will licence a number of Pentafin’s products, including OneVue for investor and adviser administration and WebVue for Internet-based investor and adviser servicing.
The appointment follows a “comprehensive review of our technology capabilities and operations from workflow to website”, according to AUI chief operating officer Mark Pratt.
He said the review “identified several areas and specific approaches that would help us achieve our customer service objectives and manage future growth”.
“The system we need must support the business today, while allowing future modifications in line with product development opportunities and market or environmental changes.”
He added that the new technology would “help provide advisers and investors with a more seamless service and make their interaction with AUI easier”.
