Aspire Retire Financial Services has taken out the 2009 Queensland Telstra Small Business awards.
The privately-owned financial services company was named the winner at the gala ceremony held in Brisbane last night.
Aspire Retire co-founders Olivia Maragna and Stephen Degiovanni said they believe the establishment of a non-commission business model is a winning formula.
The fee-for service approach allows clients to have the financial freedom to make decisions that best suit their circumstances and goals given the current economy, “rather than being spoon fed pigeonholed strategies”, Degiovanni said.
Maragna believes a key point of difference separating the privately-owned firm from its competitors is its high regard for financial literacy, educating its clients and nurturing their understanding of money and investments, and growing their financial awareness.
