Former Macquarie Capital executive and four-year member of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC), Cathie Armour is being reappointed to the regulator in her position as commissioner, effective until 2 June 2022.
Minister for Revenue and Financial Services, Kelly O’Dwyer said Armour had shown strong commitment to ASIC since 2013 and excelled in her ongoing public service.
Armour is a member of Chief Executive Women and previously held multiple roles at Macquarie Capital over an 11-year period and spent five years on the corporate legal counsel of JP Morgan between 1996 and 2002.
