Just months after evolving from a management buyout, Apostle Asset Management has announced two key appointments capable of extending its reach into the retail sector, with Nigel Leverett being named as head of distribution and Adam Curtis as business development manager.
Leverett is a former head of strategy and development at Genesys Wealth Advisers while Curtis is a former consultant with Grove Research.
Apostle managing director Karyn West said the company, which had historically focused on the wholesale market, would widen its reach in 2008, providing the business with the ability to offer a wider variety of exclusive specialist products to its clients.
“We are delighted to have Nigel and Adam on board. They both come to Apostle Asset Management with extensive experience in the retail sector and their knowledge will assist the development of the retail channel of our business,” she said.
West said Leverett would be responsible for the development of Apostle Asset Management’s distribution into the retail segment.
