AMP has trumpeted the fact that its trauma insurance offering has picked up an award from ratings house Canstar Cannex.
The company said that its trauma product had picked up the Outstanding Value Insurance – Trauma Award as part of the Canstar Life Insurance Star Ratings for the second year in a row.
Commenting on the achievement, AMP's head of technical strategies for Retail Wealth Protection Chris Kirby said the award reflected the work done on getting the balance right within the product.
Canstar head of research Chris Groth commented that the biggest trauma claims in Australia related to cancer and heart attack.
"AMP Life excels in these areas, as well as being flexible with acceptance of new and ever-changing methods of medical diagnosis," he said.
