AMP Horizons Financial Planning Academy is looking to attract more women through a networking and information session aimed at those keen to enter the profession or start up their own practice.
“Female planners are under represented in the financial planning industry and we believe this is a missed opportunity — not only for licensees looking to expand their planner base but also for practices looking to grow their businesses,” said AMP Horizons Financial Planning Academy director Tim Steele.
The event includes a panel discussion of female AMP Horizon graduates and will be held at AMP’s Sydney headquarters on March 23. A web-based conference will be held on March 25 for those who cannot attend.
