AIG Life is attempting to bridge an insurance education gap in its clients’ understanding of a need for insurance with the launch of an online insurance education centre.
The six self-test modules are designed to support clients’ staff with an increased awareness and understanding of life insurance and the importance of its offering to members, according to AIG Life’s head of group insurance, Damien Mu.
The learning centre has been developed with the help of 30-year life insurance veteran Geoff Street.
Mu said the learning centre will assist in the promotion and awareness of the importance of life insurance to members.
“We believe that the online learning centre will play a valuable part … as the gap of insurance needs and understanding is bridged,” Mu said.
The education centre is accessible to the group’s clients via the AIG Life client website.
