AIA Australia has appointed Elizabeth Flynn to its board of directors, after Flynn spent several years on various committees at Aviva Australia.
Flynn is currently a non-executive director of Bennelong Funds Management and general counsel and company secretary of Save the Children Australia.
The AIA board has embraced her experience as a former director of NULIS Nominees, Aviva Australia’s superannuation trustee company; her chairing of Aviva Australia’s due diligence committee; and her membership of Aviva Australia’s asset/liability and risk management committees.
Flynn had spent 18 years at law firm Minter Ellison before joining Aviva Australia in 1998, where she worked until 2010.
Flynn had already commenced her new role on the AIA board of directors last month.
