The Association of Financial Advisers (AFA) is partnering with Adviser Ratings, as it aims to improve consumer knowledge about the benefits of advice.
AFA chief executive, Brad Fox, said the decision to join forces with Adviser Ratings to produce a consumer-focused magazine — The really simple guide to money — came in response to members’ requests to better educate the public about the role advisers play.
“Recent polling of our members indicated that they want us to work to educate the public about financial advisers and the value of financial advice,” he said.
“With almost half the magazine’s content contributed by AFA members, we believe The really simple guide to money will help do just that.”
Fox said AFA members will be able to give their clients free access to an electronic version of the magazine from Monday 26 October.
