Fund manager Aberdeen has enhanced its Australian fixed income team with the appointment of John Manning and David Choi.
Manning has joined Aberdeen as investment manager and senior credit analyst, having previously worked as director of credit strategy for Australia and New Zealand at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Meanwhile, Choi has joined in the role of assistant investment manager, having gained portfolio dealing and management experience at the NSW Treasury Corporation.
Aberdeen now has a team of 11 Australian fixed income team members who together manage almost $15 billion in assets in segregated mandates and unit trusts.
The two appointments were announced by Aberdeen’s head of Australian fixed income, Victor Rodriguez.
