Janus Henderson appoints head of operations for Australia
Janus Henderson Investors has appointed Donna Crawford as head of operations for Australia, based in Melbourne.
Crawford would oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of the investment teams with responsibility for investment and operational due diligence, product governance, and regulatory change initiatives.
She joined from Vanguard Investments Australia, where she managed the New Business and Performance Analysis teams for the past three years.
Before that she was joint head of operations for Perennial Investment Partners up until they were acquired by Henderson Global Investors, now Janus Henderson, in 2016.
She had spent 26 years with Perennial/IOOF in back and middle office operations, performance and quantitative management, risk and compliance, investment management systems and client servicing.
Matt Gaden, Janus Henderson head of Australia, said Crawford’s experience included client relationships, staff development, technology development, data management and governance.
“Donna’s appointment will place our clients at the centre of operational excellence and be a significant asset to our growing business in Australia,” Gaden said.
