Crestone Wealth Management has appointed Stan Shamu and Anshula Venkataraman to its investment products and services team, effective immediately.

Shamu was appointed to the role of senior portfolio strategist, and Venkataraman was appointed to the role of investment consultant, and both would report to chief investment officer, Scott Haslem.

Shamu would join from Jana Investment Advisers, where he conducted managed funds research and provided advice to a wide range of clients, and Venkataraman would join from Morningstar’s manager research team, where she conducted research on managed investments.

Head of investments products and services at the firm, Adam Ginnivan, said Shamu and Venkataraman’s expertise in their respective areas would further bolster Crestone’s strong in-house investment capability.

“We have invested heavily in creating a truly robust investment team to support our advisors, ensuring clients can access advice across more asset classes; both in Australia and offshore,” he said.

“This approach to investing and manager selection allows Crestone to meet the growing expectations of our high net worth clients, who are increasingly demanding an institutional investor level of service and quality.”
