AMP Capital appoints former Apple operations head as senior adviser
AMP Capital has appointed Thomas Preising as a senior adviser to its infrastructure equity business, in a bid to harness infotech to streamline and enhance the operations of its global infrastructure assets.
Preising was previously the global business operations director for Apple in Cupertino, California, and he established the tech giant's first office in the Middle East. Prior to that, Preising worked in tech for Hewlett Packard.
Boe Pahari, global head of infrastructure equity at the firm, said Preising’s appointment reflected AMP Capital’s aim to be a global destination for talent.
“We are proud of our senior advisers, who bring exceptional talent and experience from diverse backgrounds to enhance our asset management capability,” Pahari said.
“We are particularly excited to look beyond the traditional boundaries of infrastructure and learn from a professional with experience of building one of the world’s most successful brands.”
Preising would be based in Delhi, which, according to AMP Capital, would be a growth market the firm in 2019.
