Bennelong takes on US via BennBridge
Bennelong Funds Management has expanded into the United States via a new subsidiary, BennBridge US, with plans to distribute some existing investment funds to institutional investors.
BennBridge US appointed Barbara Safranek as president of the firm to head the company’s New York office, where she would build and develop strategic relationships within the industry and oversee institutional distribution.
Chief executive of Bennelong, Craig Bingham, said Safranek’s broad asset management experience across marketing, investor relations, product management and client portfolio management would be invaluable in her new role.
The CEO said increased demand from North American investors drove the expansion, with initial focus on the Pembroke Emerging Markets, Quay Global Investors and 4D Infrastructure’s strategies.
Pembroke partner and portfolio manager, Greg Mariasch would also join Safranek in the US office.
