OpenInvest hires BDM, marketing manager
Online marketplace for self-directed investors, OpenInvest, has hired Ravi Verma as its new business development manager, and Phoebe Kohler as its marketing manager.
The platform’s co-founder and chief executive officer, Andrew Varlamos, said since launching in November, OpenInvest had seen strong interest from investors, particularly self-managed superannuation fund trustees, and the new hires would play key roles in managing the growth.
Verma has over 25 years’ experience in consultative and distribution roles in accountancy, advisory and the investment management industry. In his new role, he would promote the marketplace to accountants and advisers as a potential solution for their self-directed clients.
Kohler would join from Constant Investor where she headed operations and client services, and, prior to that, Eureka Report and Business Spectator where she held senior roles.
