Capital Group hires distribution director
Capital Group Investment Management has appointed Eliza Weaving to its newly-created Melbourne-based role of director, distribution.
In her new role, Weaving would be responsible for supporting Capital Group clients and helping the firm’s wholesale business development team build deeper and more extensive client and adviser relationships.
Weaving joined from SG Hiscock and, prior to that, Equity Trustees and Vanguard Australia, where she held similar roles.
Head of wholesale business, Jorden Brown, said Weaving would be a key hire for the group as it continues to build out its business and client base in Australia.
“Her experience and energy will play a big role in doing this, in Melbourne and the other southern states. We welcome her on board,” said Brown.
