Leadership team changes at Perpetual
Perpetual has announced changes to its executive leadership team entailing an internal promotion and the creation of a new chief risk officer position.
The company announced to the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) today that Richard McCarthy had been promoted to Group Executive, Perpetual Corporate Trust effective from 1 December, replacing Chris Green who had been appointed Chief Financial Officer earlier this year.
It said the new Chief Risk Officer position had been created and would be filled by former Janus Henderson executive, Sam Mosse who would join the company in February, next year.
Commenting on the appointments, Perpetual chief executive, Rob Adams said the reshaping of the executive leadership team recognised strong internal talent and also brought fresh perspectives.
“I am pleased to be promoting Richard from corporate trust leadership to the executive team, recognising his broader leadership capability with particular emphasis on client-focused digital innovation,” he said.
