Infocus lures former Australian Unity execs
Infocus Wealth Management has managed to scoop up former Australian Unity senior executives, Jeff Mitchell and Craig Meldrum, as their new chief investment officer and head of technical services, respectively.
Mitchell would join Infocus after more than 20 years in the industry, with six of those as Australian Unity’s head of investment research.
Meldrum would lead the in-house function providing advice, strategy, tools and technical leadership to the firm’s 160-strong national adviser network.
Managing director, Darren Steinhardt, said the addition of Mitchell and Meldrum would strengthen the firm’s foundations given their expertise in their respective fields.
“The appointment of Jeff Mitchell and Craig Meldrum to our Infocus team signals our clear intention to resource ourselves for an exciting future,” he said.
