MetLife continues expansion of retail team
MetLife has appointed Casey Sugden and Charlé Howard to its retail sales team, as it builds towards the launch of its retail life insurance offering.
Sugden would lead MetLife’s adviser engagement and build its retail sales team in his new role as senior sales manager for Victoria and Tasmania. He would bring years of experience in regional and business development at Accurium and AIA.
Howard transferred to the role of strategic account manager from a position in MetLife’s B2B relationships team, where she managed key direct and group life partners as strategic relationship manager.
Howard would now lead the insurer’s engagement with licensee management and research teams nationally.
Head of retail sales at MetLife, Matt Lippiatt, welcomed both appointments and the development of the retail team.
“We want to be the partner advisers and licensees rely on to help them navigate the changing world of life insurance for their clients. Charlé and Casey will further strengthen our capabilities, and I’m delighted to welcome them to our retail team,” he said.
