Perpetual Corporate Trust appoints RE Services head
Perpetual Corporate Trust has recruited State Street's Hugh Treweeke to become its new head of responsible entity services.
The company announced the appointment this week, saying Treweeke has more than 20 years' experience in the financial services industry and will lead a team dedicated to providing RE and trustee services to local and global investment managers.
Confirming Treweeke's appointment this week, Perpetual Corporate Trust general manager, fund services, Andrew Cannane, said it further strengthened the firm's expertise and supported the ongoing expansion of the independent RE Business.
Treweeke has held a number of senior positions including director at Wellington International, relationship manager at RBC Dexia, and most recently at State Street, where he was Vice President Client Relationship Manager for the past three years.
Perpetual's RE business currently operates in excess of 70 registered managed investment schemes with more than $12 billion of assets under supervision across a range of asset classes including Australian equities, global equities, fixed interest, infrastructure, liquid alternatives and property.
