AMP releases wealth tracking app
AMP has launched a new mobile app in an effort to better engage its wealth clients.
Developed in response to a Newspoll report showing just 26 per cent of Australians keep track of their super, the AMP Own Tomorrow app integrates banking, insurance, superannuation and investment information in a single-screen format.
AMP chief customer officer Paul Sainsbury said the app’s super payment notification feature - which lets clients know when the employer has paid their super - will help customers prepare for retirement.
“We know that people engaged with their superannuation are more likely to achieve their retirement goals so it’s never too soon for people to increase their understanding of their superannuation choices, and their finances in general,” Sainsbury said.
The app also provides access to non-AMP investments and direct shares.
