Centric Wealth switches to Xplan software

Centric Wealth Advisers has switched to IRESS’ financial planning software, Xplan, for its adviser support.
Speaking earlier this year to Money Management, Centric chief executive Mike Pillemer said it was moving to Xplan software as part of a restructure of its back-office, which also included reviewing its internal research processes. Centric has received more than six different software solutions following the acquisition of several businesses.
National head of financial planning John Hart said Centric chose IRESS following a strategic review of its systems and extensive input from advisers.
IRESS general manager Andrew Walsh said moving to Xplan would provide clear savings from overheads for Centric, and make its processes more efficient by creating a single client record extending to debt, insurance and treasury advice channels.
