Coin Software launches new multi-medium marketing module

Coin Software has developed a new module to assist financial planners to implement marketing campaigns.

Called Campaign Management, the new module will allow advisers with limited marketing experience to create campaigns across several mediums, a statement from Coin said.

The module will also allow them to track and report on the effectiveness of the campaigns.

“The current economic conditions have made growing a business extremely challenging for financial planners,” Coin managing director Darelle Jenkins said.

As a result, a spotlight has been placed on the marketing efforts of financial planners, and marketing to both new and existing clients has gained increased relevance in the current environment.

Jenkins said advisers were now considering “new interactive ways of doing this beyond the standard e-mail”. For some, this included online blogging and podcasts, but such initiatives aren’t for everyone and do present challenges, particularly for those with limited experience in these areas and minimal marketing resources.

“In addition to this, at a time when costs are being monitored, firms need to be able to track the results from their efforts to ensure they are maximising all of the opportunities available to them,” Jenkins said.
