AMP has launched a life insurance training program to boost the skills and professionalism of its staff.

The life insurance certificate was developed in conjunction with the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance, and provides entry to complete a Diploma in Financial Services.

While the program is aimed at building on staff skills, AMP stated it particularly aims to boost claims and underwriting proficiencies. Learning models include products, processes and distribution.

“The expertise gained from completing the qualification will allow our staff to deliver an even greater level of service to our customers and planners,” said AMP director of product manufacturing, Paul Sainsbury.
