QBE appoints group executive
QBE Insurance has announced the appointment of Tony Jackson as global head of investor relations and Communications.
Jackson, who worked at Macquarie Equities for 20 years as a senior financial analyst and executive director, will take on QBE's newly created group executive role.
"Tony is highly regarded by the investment community in Australia and overseas," QBE chief executive Frank O'Halloran said.
"He will support the group executive in business planning, strategy and acquisitions."
