St George CEO to depart
Westpac Banking Group has announced that the chief executive of St George, Greg Bartlett, will be retiring in December.
Bartlett’s exit from St George was announced by Westpac chief executive Gail Kelly, who said he would be succeeded by Rob Chapman who is currently chief executive of BankSA.
Bartlett had been CEO of St George since December 2008 and was pivotal to the merger process with Westpac. He had been with the bank since 1982.
