Getting social earns Monger Marketing nod

 Marketing and Communications Manager of the Year: Priscilla Monger, SPAA 

Social media skills played a pivotal role in landing SMSF Professionals’ Association of Australia’s (SPAA) Priscilla Monger the title of Money Management and Super Review’s Marketing and Communications Manager of the Year. 

In her role as communications and media manager at SPAA, Monger showed the judges the importance of social media in marketing, particularly via two recently-executed campaigns.  

“Clearly a skill set in social media is a valuable credential going forward¨ I am sure Pricilla is a future leader,” a judge commented. 

SPAA’s Thunderclap campaign specifically got the attention of the judges with one judge stating “SPAA’s Thunderclap campaign was truly innovative and a resounding success. Very impressive”. 

Category runner up Natalie Kitchen manager, external communications and content marketing at Suncorp Life also headed a marketing campaign that caught the judges’ eyes. 

“Very impressed with the Grudge Years campaign. She has accomplished a tremendous amount of work.” 

Finalist in the categoty, Caterina Nesci, marketing and media manager at La Trobe Financial, was commended for her industry involvement and creativity. “No doubt that her skill set is leading. That being set she is creative, dedicated and has made a tremendous contribution to the business,” one of the judges said. 

Communications officer at Retirement Benefits Fund Candice Convey was praised by judges for her planning capability and credited it to her being selected as a finalist in the category, “Clearly organisational skills have pushed this women to the forefront. She is very cognizant of how to get things done.”
