Michael Dwyer recognised for Lifetime Achievement
The chief executive of First State Super, Michael Dwyer has been awarded an Industry Lifetime Achievement Award by Money Management’s sister publication, Super Review.
Dwyer, who will retire as First State’s CEO in November received his award during the Super Review Super Fund of the Year Awards in Melbourne.
Dwyer was honoured with the award owed to his contribution to the superannuation industry not only as fund chief executive but also as a director of the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) and as the inaugural chairman of the Fund Executives Association Limited (FEAL).
He will be succeeded as CEO of First State Super by former MetLife Australia chief executive, Deanne Stewart.
