Former Snowball Group chief executive, Tony McDonald has been appointed to the board of HUB24 Limited.

The company announced today that McDonald had been appointed as a non-executive director effective from 1 September.

Commenting on the appointment, HUB24 chairman, Bruce Higgins said McDonald would strengthen the board's skills in financial planning, financial services and leadership in wealth management.

"Tony co-founded the Snowball Group and oversaw the successful merger with Shadforth to form SFG in 2011," he said.
