Investment and life insurance firm, Synchron is aiming to expand on its offerings, appointing Sheridan Wright as its South Australia (SA) / Northern Territory (NT) manager as part of its move to make the company a fully national licensee in every state.

Commenting on the appointment, Synchron director Don Trapnell said the company would now focus on its expansion within SA and NT.

“Our expansion clearly illustrates our commitment to the long-term growth of Synchron as a successful, ongoing business providing quality financial advice to Australian consumers,” he said.

“We are now on a mission to increase our footprint and to bring to our SA/NT advisers the full range of support experienced by other Synchron advisers.”

Wright is a former regional manager for BT Financial Group and worked as a business development manager with the firm between 1997 and 2007 and has also held the position of state manager, superannuation and structured products, with Perpetual.

Trapnell said the appointment of Wright had made Synchron one of only a few nationwide licensees.
