Schroders appoints equity investment director
Schroders has appointed Anne-Sophie Williams as investment director to its equities product team.
In the role, she would be responsible for engaging with clients about the firm’s equity funds and lead product strategy efforts in partnership with the investment and solutions team.
She would report to head of product and solutions, Natalie Morcos, and be based in Sydney.
Williams joined Schroders from BlackRock where she was an active equity product strategist and previously worked at Magellan and QBE Insurance.
The appointment followed the launch of the Schroder Australian Equity Long Short fund last year.
Morcos said: “Anne-Sophie’s proven experience across product strategy, distribution, product development, and client engagement at both a local and global level was particularly attractive to Schroders.
“Her extensive asset class experience, in Australian equities as well as global equities, fundamental and quantitative equities, fixed income, listed infrastructure and investment solutions, make her a good fit for the team.”
