Ralston to chair SMSF Association
Financial services academic, Professor Deborah Ralston is the new chairperson of the SMSF Association.
Ralston’s succeeds Andrew Gale in the role and will take up chairing the organisation effective from the end of the SMSF Association national conference in Sydney this week.
Gale will continue as a member of the SMSF Association board while Vanguard head of market strategy and communications, Robin Bowerman, will remain deputy chair.
Ralston has served on the SMSF Association board since July 2016 and is a recognised authority on financial services research and strategy, with a particular capability in superannuation, financial regulation and digital finance innovation.
