NZ lawyer added to AMP board

New Zealand corporate lawyer and current non-executive director of AMP Life Limited, Andrew Harmos, has been appointed to the board of AMP Limited.

Harmos’ appointment was confirmed this week by AMP chair, Catherine Brenner, who said it would become effective from 1 June.

The Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) announcement said Harman was the founding director and shareholder of Harmos Horton Lusk Limited, an Auckland-based specialist corporate legal advisory firm.

He was previously chairman of NZX Limited and is currently a non-executive director of Scentre Group.
