NSX managing director to leave

Ann Bowering, managing director for the National Stock Exchange (NSX) of Australia, has decided not to extend her contract, leaving her position on 5 July.

Bowering had been involved with the organisation for 10 years, she had held the position of managing director and chief executive officer (CEO) for three years.

Over the last three years, Bowering had overseen the complete restructuring of the company with the combination of the Melbourne and Newcastle offices into Sydney, and by building a new management structure and operational team.

Matthew Loughnan had been appointed interim CEO from 6 July, he was a senior executive with over 20 years’ experience in financial services.

Loughnan’s broking experience included general manager at ANZ Share Investing and ANZ Investment Lending.
