Mercer hires head of investment consulting
Mercer has bolstered its investment consulting capabilities with the appointment of Michael Armitage as head of investment consulting in its institutional wealth team.
Armitage’s career had spanned 30 years, with roles in investment strategy research, portfolio management, institutional investment and asset management product development.
Mercer’s institutional wealth leader, Pacific, Simon Eagleton, said Armitage’s expertise would help the firm bring value-adding investment ideas to its clients.
The new hire said the firm’s strong capabilities across investment management research, alternative investments and responsible investments enable more efficient outcomes for members and institutions.
“I look forward to helping our clients navigate their way through a growing set of complex demands with the support of a highly capable team,” he said.
