Managed Account Holdings board brings on expert
Investment platform administration provider, Managed Account Holdings (MGP), has appointed superannuation legal expert, Pamela McAlister, to its board where she would chair the ARC Risk and Compliance sub-committee and advance the company’s acquisition of an existing Registrable Superannuation Entity.
McAlister was most recently a partner at Mercer Consulting, director of Mercer Legal and prior to that she served the predecessor of Legal Super and the Uniting Church Beneficiary Fund as a trustee director.
Her career also included roles at the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, Hall and Wilcox, Freehills and Greenfields Lawyers as well as Australian Unity.
MGP chairman, Don Sharp, said McAlister’s expertise in financial services law, governance and industry regulation would be a critical asset to the business, and her counsel and input would be key in servicing advisers, brokers and fund managers.
