KPMG bolsters Aussie legal team
KPMG has bolstered its legal services arm by hiring Zein El Hassan, the firm’s Australian financial services risk advisory team leader.
El Hassan’s practice, Norton Rose Fullbright, focuses on financial services and markets regulation, including superannuation, insurance, wealth management and consumer credit licensing, and new technologies such as blockchain.
Prior to joining Norton Rose Fullbright, El Hassan was a partner at Clayton Utz and Corrs Chambers Westgarth, and an associate at Mallesons Stephen Jaques.
The global accounting firm is aiming to almost double its head count in its legal services arm in the net few year, according to Law.com’s London-based affiliate, Legal Week.
