Koda Capital has appointed three new partners , Frank Macindoe, James Hawthorne and Brendan Jones, bringing the number of partners to 34, of which 25 are advisers.

Macindoe, who was the leading adviser at JBWere for several years and a former partner at Blake Dawson, says the move is a chance to increase the breadth of services available to his clients.

“Of course, I’m attracted by Koda’s independence, but equally it is their partnership model, where the owners of business are in daily contact with clients. Every decision affecting clients is based on their feedback. The highly responsive service that results from a partnership is what resonates with the clients of all leading professional service firms” said Macindoe.

Koda Capital CEO, Paul Heath, said following the company’s recent top 15 inclusion in the BRW Fast Staters List in 2017, they have been carefully selecting the right partners to expand their business.

“…with the three new partners announced today it demonstrates we continue to attract the elite advisers in our profession,” he said.

Jones, who had previously worked for NAB Private and JBWere, said the natural progression was to seek out an independent firm.

“The wealth landscape is rapidly changing and Koda’s ability to be agile, collaborative and innovative means we are best positioned to support clients and deliver the outcomes they are looking for,” he said.
